Stockton, California is home to one of the most inspiring young leaders in the nation. Michael Tubbs decided that the violence and poverty in his hometown wasn't going to ruin the place he loved, and so he decided after graduating college that he would go back and serve his fellow Stocktonians. He also decided that together they could reinvent Stockton, and he's been challenging folks to do just that since he became the youngest city councilman in city history in 2012. Here he describes the work that is taking place there, and how young people can positively impact their own communities.
